You are called to the NICU for consultation for the incidental finding of a 2.6 cm ovarian cyst in a 2½ week old infant. The infant was born at 30 weeks gestation and since birth she has been undergoing workup for concerns regarding her renal collecting system. A renal ultrasound noted a 2.6 cm simple right ovarian cyst.
